Peghead Nation is a proud sponsor of Live from Here, the popular NPR music and radio variety show formerly known as A Prairie Home Companion. Mandolin master Chris Thile took over as host of the show in October 2016, and since then has had an impressive guest list of instrumentalists, songwriters, and composers on the show. His house band includes Peghead Nation fiddle instructor Brittany Haas, guitarist Chris Eldridge, bassist Paul Kowert, pianist Richard Dworsky, drummer Ted Poor, and frequent guests Sarah Jarosz, Aoife O’Donovan, and others.
The show is broadcast live from the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul, Minnesota, and travels to destinations throughout the United States during its annual broadcast season. Chris’s guests on Saturday, March 10 were the Wood Brothers, Phoebe Bridgers, and comedian Bobcat Goldthwait, and you can listen to the audio of the entire broadcast on LiveFromHere.org.
