Peghead Nation Celtic Guitar instructor Tony McManus was recently in the San Francisco Bay Area, hosting his weekend guitar workshop and playing a few concerts with fiddler and guitarist Julia Toaspern.

In this video from their house concert in San Anselmo, California, Tony and Julia play the Greek traditional tune “Moustambeiko,” which Tony recorded (on bouzouki) for his album of duets with Italian guitarist Beppe Gambetta called Round Trip.

To study guitar with Tony, enroll now in his Celtic Guitar course on Peghead Nation, where you’ll learn to play reels, jigs, airs, and other traditional forms, both fingerstyle and with a flatpick. Tony walks you through melodies and shows you how to bring tunes to life with the ornamentation that defines Irish and Scottish traditional music.
